“I took my Mum to Guy's Restaurant for her birthday and we had a fantastic time. The food was amazing! The menu has so many options and there is also a great specials menu. We had a lovely bottle of wine which was very reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and the owner himself went around the restaurant chatting to customers which added to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. A massive thank you to the staff for organising my Mum's dessert with a massive birthday candle/firework!!! Will definitely be visiting again!!”

We booked Guy’s for a special occasion and were not disappointed. The meal was gorgeous and generous portions (would recommend the lamb shank and the cheesecake mmm). The ambiance of the restaurant was really relaxed with a singer & piano player in the background which was nice. The staff were really cheery, and we felt that we were well looked after despite the restaurant being really busy.

Although the prices are maybe a little more expensive for the A la carte menu I would definitely recommend and you normally only get what you pay for.

I have been twice in the last few weeks and will be going many more times in the future...what an amazing place! Really quirky restaurant, fantastic atmosphere, simple menu using really good quality produce, attention to detail, professional and fun service - you name it, this place has got it in spades. If you're going a la carte It's not cheap (although there's a pre-theatre menu), but it's still value for money as it is just so good on all counts. A real wee gem and Guy himself is great - it's like you're having dinner at his house!! PS if you get the chance to have the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, you must grab it with both hands!!
